Born in Jamaica, I’m best known as an educator. Having taught at every educational level, I proudly recall my contributions at CAST, now University of Technology. There, I was appointed Lecturer for English and Liberal Studies assigned to the Technical Education Department of CAST. I also enjoyed my time at UWI, Mona as Part-Time Tutor for Use of English and Introduction to Linguistics. I’ve also had the privilege of being a Trainer in English for the IADB Primary Education Improvement Project. I also appreciate greatly my time with JIS supporting journalists and disseminating information about Jamaica in response to requests coming from around the world.

One exciting opportunity yet challenging experience I had was supervising the students as we participated in the cultural exchange program between Jamaican and Canadian post-secondary students by completing inclusion projects in communities located in both Jamaica and Canada to which we travelled. Finally, in 2001, I migrated to NYC and was appointed a Special Education Teacher in one of the city’s hard-to-serve areas in the NYC public school system. In this position, I’ve contributed to the progress of students with disabilities, their promotion to high school and their graduation with a high school diploma. I’ve also mentored new teachers and student teachers who are on teaching practice.

Most of all I take the greatest pleasure in family and how they have encouraged me to realize my dream of creating our unique platform to showcase our products. Much more than that, these are products which symbolize our legacy and ultimately solidify our heritage.
Product Launch
Ras Fyah hair, scalp, and skin products have been around for a long time and I’ve used them since my youth . These products have moisturized, grown, and nurtured my hair, skin, and scalp. I saw the sheen in my hair, and felt the supple texture of my skin, while my scalp was soothed by these nourishing products. Say goodbye to dry and dull hair, and scalp, and skin when you use the line of Ras Fyah products.
O’Cherry is a baked product in dark colored fruit cupcakes, or 1-2 lb cakes. These are alcoholic or non- alcoholic baked products mostly used to celebrate Christmas in Jamaica. However, I intend to make these cupcakes available all year
